Hello! I have finally depotted my NYX Roll On Shimmers and I wanted to show you guys how you can do it too! Depotting these was such a great idea because the "roller" concept was a very awkward way to apply these shimmers, so now I can just dip a brush in very easily! I got these little jars from Target that came in packs of 3 for just $1 in the dollar section. They are the perfect size for the amount that comes in these shimmers.
To de-pot these, all you need are little jars, a towel (to catch any glitter fallout), and tweezers/anything to pull the roller off.
I placed a towel down on a flat surface and opened up the jar and shimmer to make things easier for me.
I then took my tweezers and started to pry the roller top off. This was surprisingly easy and it didn't take much time or force at all.
The bottom picture shows the top off to show that the shimmery pigment goes all the way to the top of the tube.
Then, I dumped all the pigment out into the jar.
As you may see, you get a great amount of product for the price (~$4).
Now I have a more accessible way to pick up product, like with a brush, that isn't awkward or clumsy to put on the eyelids.
