Hello! After not posting a while, I have a pretty exciting one that I have been planning for the past few weeks~ Today I am doing a dual post on the Lush Cosmetics Buffy Body Butter, a solid scrubby lotion you use in the shower. I decided to do an experiment as I've heard many claims that this will reduce the appearance of stretch marks! Now, in the past year, I have gained a little bit of weight and I obtained some stretch marks on my belly. Since I got them so fast, they are red and raised. They are my least favorite attribute that I have at the moment and I wanted to get rid of them. I did some research, but each time there would be pros and cons to each item, or that they wouldn't even work for them. Now that I am working for Lush, I decided to go ahead and try out Buffy. Now it is a definite holy grail product in my collection!
Buffy is a solid body butter that contains shea and cocoa butters to really moisturize your skin while ground rice, almonds, and aduki beans exfoliate dead skin cells and brighten skin. The lavender oil soothes and calms skin while also being an antiseptic. Lastly, the lemon oil is also brightening and has cleansing properties. I use this bar all over my tummy (as well as anywhere else I want to exfoliate and moisturize) in the shower before I get out, and then just rinse off the scrubby bits. With all these functions put together, it created an amazing result at reducing the redness of my stretch marks and is also decreasing the size of them as well.
Below, I have a before and after picture from the past few weeks, the first picture being taken on May 1st and the second picture being taken on May 25th. I did not alter the pictures in any way so that I could show you how amazing this is (despite how scared I am to show my belly to the world).

I hope you enjoyed reading, if you have anymore questions that I didn't hit on in this post, please feel free to ask. Have you ever used Buffy? What else would you like me to review?
