Smashbox Full Exposure Palette Review

Today I am bringing you my very first review! For Christmas, my boyfriend got me the Smashbox Full Exposure eyeshadow palette because I thought it was a gorgeous set of neutral eyeshadows. Below I have swatches of each shade on my arm with no primer underneath. I applied them with my fingers.

Now, the matte shades on the bottom row are AMAZING. They're very pigmented and they blend very nicely. I have used each one at least once and I could easily use each of these for a different look every day.

The glitters are kinda iffy. The only way I can get color AND glitter payoff is when I use my fingers to apply it, such as in the swatches picture. This is kind of difficult for me because I am slightly clumsy when applying products with fingers. However, if I try to use these shades with a brush, even if I pat on the shadow, I can only get random chunks of glitter. The double-ended brush that came with it doesn't even work well with the top row shades, in my opinion. But otherwise, they're absolutely stunning and have a sorta metallic finish underneath the glitter. They also match very well with their corresponding shades on the bottom row, so if you layer them, you can get some excellent eyeshadows.

My rating of this eyeshadow palette would be a 4/5 for having beautiful colors and most of the shades having a great formula, except for the glittery colors.

Tell me what you think and thanks for reading! Love y'all~
